The Lodge at Broadmead, Victoria, BC
Tillicum Care Society
Tillicum Lodge is an existing 151–bed intermediate care facility serving elderly residents. We prepared a facilities program for a new 225–bed multi–level care facility. The new centre will include priority admission beds funded by Veterans' Affairs Canada. We worked closely with a Planning Committee consisting of the administrator and department heads to define future requirements. A draft Facilities Program was prepared and approved by the Ministry of Health. We worked with the architect in the development of schematic design options. Completed in 1991.
