Victoria Native Friendship Centre, BC
Victoria Native Friendship Centre - BC Buildings Corporation
At the time of our study, VNFC had assumed the role of a multi–service centre for the Victoria urban native community and wanted to expand its role as a major cultural centre. We prepared a Facilities Program for new facilities that addressed area and organizational requirements for each of the spaces to be provided within the new facility. The Facilities Program provided sufficient information to identify and assess potential site and development options; establish a fund–raising target for capital construction; and allow the project design team to proceed with the development of conceptual design drawings. Completed in 1992.
