Saint Bartholomew's Health and Healing Centre, Lytton, BC
Saint Bartholemew's Hospital
The Ministry of Health and the Thompson Nicola Regional District agreed to the joint development of an integrated Community Health and Healing Centre to replace the existing hospital. The new facility will provide Emergency Care, and contain six Multipurpose Acute Inpatient beds, ten Multilevel Care beds, and a new Health Unit providing outpatient services. An innovative element of the project will be a Native Healing Centre to meet the needs of area First Nations. We were part of a team that prepared a Facilities Program and Conceptual Drawings for the proposed Centre. The scope of work included development of net and gross area requirements, identification of internal functional relationships, assessment of site development options, and preparation of capital cost estimates. Completed in 1995.
