Trail Middle School, BC
School District 20 (Kootenay-Columbia)
The focus of the study was to determine the feasibility and advisability of building a 300–student middle school on the site of an existing elementary school in Trail. We examined the possibility of expanding the site. Alternative sites were explored as well. Several partnership possibilities, including a library and a childcare centre, were reviewed. The objective was to reduce the net cost or add to the value of the project. Completed in 1997.
