Central Saanich Municipal Hall, BC
District of Central Saanich
We were retained by the District of Central Saanich to produce a comprehensive facilities plan for accommodating police, fire and administrative functions. We estimated future staffing and space requirements, and identified four building development options involving the redevelopment of the existing facilities and/or new construction. A comprehensive evaluation framework was used to assess each of the development options based on relevant functional, strategic and cost criteria. We concluded that construction of a new police building and redevelopment of the existing facilities was the most cost–effective solution in meeting the municipality's long–term facilities needs. Completed in 2000.
